Waaree Energies Ltd has confirmed a fresh 350 MW module supply order from AMPIN Energy Transition, marking another milestone between the two companies. This follows AMPIN’s earlier 210 MW order placed the previous year, reinforcing a steady working relationship. The latest batch of G12R TOPCon modules will be deployed across AMPIN’s upcoming solar developments spread across multiple Indian states.
Both companies noted that the supply schedule is aligned for completion by March 2026, supporting AMPIN’s ongoing expansion across commercial, industrial, and utility-scale clients.
AMPIN’s Founder, MD and CEO, Pinaki Bhattacharyya, said the order reflects the company’s intention to use advanced, high-efficiency technology as it broadens its clean energy footprint. He praised Waaree’s manufacturing capability and the consistency of its G12R modules with AMPIN’s internal quality and sustainability standards.
According to him, the renewed collaboration is rooted in trust built over previous project executions, and aligns with AMPIN’s long-term plan to deploy reliable tech across its growing national pipeline.
Waaree’s Executive Director, Sunil Rathi, described the G12R module line as engineered for strong energy output, dependable low-light generation, and durable performance in diverse locations.
Their use in AMPIN’s projects reflects the broader industry shift toward domestically produced, advanced solar technology as India moves closer to its long-term renewable energy ambitions.
The upcoming 350 MWp capacity is projected to reduce roughly 407,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions every year, based on Central Electricity Authority estimates. Both organizations view the scale and repeat nature of the order as a sign of the growing confidence in India’s solar manufacturing capabilities and the role they play in supporting national clean energy targets.
